Alyson Bodner

Alyson Bodner Instructional Assistant - Edmonton

Alyson brings a dedicated spirit of academic excellence and athletic discipline to the LYNX team. She is a graduate of Dalhousie University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in a combined program of Neuroscience and Law, Justice, and Society which was awarded with First Class Honours. During her time at Dalhousie, Alyson was a standout student-athlete, playing for the Varsity Women’s Soccer Team while achieving Academic All-Canadian and Dean’s List status for all four years.

Her passion for outdoor education is rooted in a childhood spent active in nature. Whether playing sports like soccer, rugby, and slow pitch, walking her dogs in the Edmonton River Valley, or spending time at her grandparents' farm in Didsbury, AB, Alyson has always felt at home outside. She is also an avid mountain enthusiast, enjoying skiing, camping, hiking, and biking.

Building on her love for the mountains, Alyson is looking forward to trying new activities like ski touring and ice fishing this season. She is thrilled to join LYNX as an Instructional Assistant to help foster the same valuable connection to the outdoors that shaped her own upbringing.
