About LYNX

A member of the Third Schools family, LYNX is an innovative school offering Nature Inspired Education for ECS children and Grades 1 through 9 students. As an independent school, we support parental choice in education. LYNX is also unique because our students are learning out of doors. In this way, Mother Nature is their third teacher. Our children and students are learning in nature’s classroom. That means less time sitting at desks and more time in active learning.

Lynx ECS

Our LYNX ECS Program operates at our LYNX Campus at 3311 49 St SW Calgary in the Glenbrook community.

• Our site features a nature inspired playground
• We offer both a full and half day program
• We follow the Alberta Kindergarten Program Statement
• Much of the day is spent outdoors with weekly fieldtrips
• Learning is hands on, inquiry based, experiential, and play based
• Small class sizes with highly experienced teachers
• Weekly field trips within the city of Calgary
• School bus transportation available
• PUF funding is available for eligible children
