Renee grew up in Heart’s Content, a small coastal town in eastern Newfoundland. She moved to Calgary in 1998. What was planned as a temporary move became a permanent stay. Renee welcomed a beautiful daughter into her life in 2004 and was proud to celebrate her graduation from Third Academy in 2023.

Renee studied Social Anthropology at the University of Calgary but changed her career path in 2009 when she had the opportunity to work in the independent school setting. In 2014, she accepted the position of Administrative Assistant at Third Academy and has been part of this wonderful team ever since. In 2020, Renee was delighted by her appointment to the position of Registrar. Third Schools' growth made this position necessary with the addition of ursa and LYNX to the Third Academy family.

Outside of work Renee enjoys spending time with family. Her interests include art, cake and cookie decorating, training her family dog, and taking long summer walks.
