Third Schools is at the heart of Sunil’s work and passion. As a lifelong learner himself, he understands the dynamics and intricacies of education and works tirelessly to ensure all stakeholders, families, and students receive the best programs and opportunities possible. In his role as Head of Schools, Sunil works closely with the Leadership Team to provide proactive support and leadership to all Third Academy, LYNX, and ursa, and staff, students, and parents.

Sunil completed his IB program at Atlantic College (1986) before attending the London School of Economics (LLB (Hons) Law 1991) and the University of Calgary's Master of Teaching program (BEd 2001). As an original member of the founding staff, Sunil has been helping to build the dream of Third Schools since 1997. Throughout the years he has held various positions within the organization. The 2024-2025 school year marks his fifteenth year as Head of Schools.

It is inspiring to see our students’ hard work and progress on a daily basis,” explains Sunil.
