Susan Alexander Teacher
Susan has a diverse educational background. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Education and obtained a postgraduate degree in Computer Science. After moving to Canada, Susan held various positions that reflect her versatility and passion for education. In 2009, she started working for Third Schools as a Teaching Assistant at Third Academy. Since then, she has taken significant strides in her career, further enhancing her expertise through the Bridge to Teaching program - an accreditation program for internationally-trained teachers - at the University of Calgary. Susan has acquired valuable knowledge and experience teaching at schools catering to various age groups over the years.
Susan is experienced teaching a variety of subjects from grades 1 to 12 both online and in a classroom setting. She is currently teaching ursa online courses in high school math and science. Additionally, she teaches math and science to Third Academy junior high students. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed diverse experiences and has made memories through interactions with individuals from various cultures and backgrounds.
Susan is married and has a 20-year-old son who is currently in his second year pursuing a chemistry degree at the University of Calgary. She finds both personal and professional fulfillment in her life. When Susan is not working, she enjoys participating in various leisure activities such as reading, cooking, traveling, and watching movies. Additionally, she places great value on her relationships with family and friends and cherishes every moment spent with them. Susan is dedicated to lifelong learning, constantly seeking opportunities to improve her skills as an educator.
